Consequences of not preaching the gospel

2 Corinthians 4:3 KJV

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Our refusal to preach the gospel makes it hard for those who are lost to be found.

Romans 1:16 ASV

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

How would people be saved if we do not preach the gospel?

When you hid the gospel, when you refuse to preach the gospel, you are denying people the only means by which they would be saved. The only way that our God can save and deliver the lost is the gospel but our refusal to preach is an hindrance.

God brought you close to that soul so you can share the good news.

What are the consequences of your refusal?

Ezekiel 3:18 ASV

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand.

Ezekiel 33:8 ASV

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die, and thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at thy hand.

The wicked man in this passage is the sinner. When you do not preach the gospel, the blood of the sinners that are around you God will require it from you.

You are God's agent of change on earth. You are to preach the gospel to those who are not saved around, if you fail to do so, you would be held responsible when they die in their evil ways.

Mark 16:20 BBT

And they went forth, and preached everywhere to every creature, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.

Please obey God's word and preach to the lost souls around you.
